LIVE’s design and construction combine to create a truly unique and unmatched paddleboarding experience.

Patented “TunnelHull” Design

LIVE is the world’s first TunnelHull paddle board. The TunnelHull design creates a wider footprint and results in less total hull surface area in the water which means less drag or resistance.

The “Flying V” Hydrodynamic Hull

A LIVE TunnelHull Paddle Board is considerably faster than comparable boards. With each stroke of the paddle, you’ll go faster and glide farther. Why? It’s all about hydrodynamics (think aerodynamics but in water). LIVE’s two slim, “Flying V” hydrodynamic hulls create much less drag, offer far less resistance and push much less water than a traditional monohull paddle board.

‘No-Tip, No-Flip’ Stability

A monohull paddleboard has a narrow footprint with flotation centered in the middle. This is akin to standing on one leg. Shift your weight too far to either side and you lose your balance. The footprint on a LIVE Paddle Board is wide and, thanks to its dual hulls, flotation resides on either edge. This is like standing on two legs and creates dramatically more stability. In fact, it’s almost impossible to tip or flip a LIVE Paddle Board even standing on the edge. This is because of the wide flotation foot-print but also due to a natural suction that exists around each sponson or hull. This stand-on-the-edge No-Tip, No-Flip stability makes riding on a LIVE Paddle Board much more fun and getting on board from the water far easier.

“Bring It On!”

Load Capacity

Thanks to the stability afforded by LIVE’s TunnelHull design and the strength of the construction, load capacities on a LIVE paddle board are substantially higher than on a monohull paddle board. This “Bring It On” load capacity allows you to bring more cargo aboard whether passengers, fishing gear, four legged friends or coolers filled with your favorite beverage.

Play with a “Full Deck”

Not only does LIVE’s rectangular deck offer more total surface area than the pinched bow/stern shape of a monohull paddleboard but, thanks to the un-matched stability of LIVE’s TunneHull design, the entire deck is truly usable. This Full Deck usability is especially important with multiple riders and for fishing, exercise, leisure and when taking coolers and other cargo along for the ride. As we like to say, “monohull paddleboards are not playing with a full deck.”

Fully Vacuum Infused

“AirCore” Hollow-Core

Composite Construction

LIVE is the first fully vacuum-infused composite, hollow-core paddleboard. This “AirCore” Construction uses a vacuum infusion process that ensures all fiber is impregnated with resin which then fully encapsulates a layer of foam all of which surrounds a hollow core. LIVE uses Divinycell, a semi-rigid PVC foam designed for use as a sandwich core when strength, stiffness and low weight is desired.

“IMPERVIA”

Anti-Delamination Technology

LIVE uses Divinycell, a semi-rigid PVC foam designed for use as a sandwich core when strength, stiffness and low weight is desired. Divinycell’s closed cell structure is also impervious to water. The delamination on other boards happens where there are pockets of fiber that have not been properly coated with resin, a problem that LIVE’s hollow core construction and “Impervia” Anti-Delamination Technology with encapsulated closed cell foam, virtually eliminates.

Our uniquely designed boards that provide stability, speed, large capacity, as well as a large platform deck and integrated Yak Attack tracks, allow them to excel in all kinds of different adventures.  Whether its rigging up your board for a fishing excursion, loading your board up with coolers and supplies to traverse the Erie canal, adding a seat to paddle our board like a kayak, or even taking advantage of a windy day to go windsurfing, its all at your fingertips.
